Laila is the daughter of Mr. Royal Tucker and Ms. Lakisha Butler. She attends Vicksburg High School. Laila’s activities include Gator Girl Co-Captain, Student Ambassador, Key Club, Student Council, Junior Class Vice President, and Senior Class President. Some of her honors and awards received are National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, National Technical Honor Society, and selected Homecoming Queen. Her hobbies and talents are dancing, cooking, and styling hair. In her community she helped with the Kiwanis Club Chili Cook-off and has donated clothes to Salvation Army. She attends Trinity Temple Baptist Church. Laila plans to attend Southern University and major in Nursing. Her future endeavor is to become a successful Nurse. Some words she uses to describe herself are self-motivated and a leader. Her personal motto is, “Do the best you can and achieve all of your goals.”.
